Besides holographic display, laser display is also an important technological field Estar focuses on. On 18th, October, the 10th anniversary of Estar, the laser TV optical engine was launched, and it was later shown on China Hi-tech Fair. The laser TV optical engine by Estar, which can realize HD projection from very close distance, includes three major parts: the HD ultra-short focal projection optical system, the Laser TV light source module and the special laser TV screen.

On-the-spot explanation of laser TV technology
The Estar laser TV optical engine module includes laser light source module and the ultra-short camera lens which both have independent intellectual property rights. The engine launched this time can cover over 70%NTSC wide color gamut, thus making the color reproduction vivid. Equipped with 1080p HD projection display chip, the ANSI luminous flux of the independently developed light machine is over 2600 lm, and it can work over 20000 hours at high luminosity. The solid structure design of laser eliminates the radiation which may harm human eyes. The ultra-short focal camera lens independently developed by Estar can project 100 inch image from only 0.48m off the screen, and 110 inch image from 0.52m off the screen.

The laser TV screen launched by Estar is specially designed for laser TV. The display screen equipped with Fresnel lens has advantages such as high contrast, high gain and anti-glare. It can effectively resist the influence of the ambient light. So far, Estar has consulted with famous domestic TV companies such as Changhong and Skyworth. In the future they will launch products equipped with Estar laser TV optical engine and ultra-short focal lens.
In the field of close projection, Tatoo, the LED smart close projector by Estar performs brilliantly. It is a star product by Estar in cooperation with Tudou.com. It fully reflects Estar’s advantage of hardware and Tudou’s advantage of software and resources. The D/W ratio of Tatoo is 0.6:1. Projecting from a 1m distance will achieve 76 inch image.
